KidsROCK is having a Christmas party on the 8th where each family is invited to study the traditions of a country and present their findings—and a native dish—to the group. I am really looking forward to it.
In choosing a country, I found some neat websites that had several countries represented and the various ways in which people celebrate Christmas. It is neat how many ways there are to show love for one another and Christ. I also enjoyed seeing how traditions are started.
We are making some changes in our own home in regard to what the Christmas season will look like. We are trying to be more purposeful and less distracted.
