New Season!

God bless all those working at ArkWebs, our website host company!  Apparently a server crashed, and they have been working diligently to retrieve several sites from backup hard drives.  Our own site had been lost, but it is now up and ready again!  And just in time for the new season’s calendar and March registration! 

Please run on over there to register for what we have planned.  I will give you a run-down for March.

Lego Club continues meeting from 3:00 to 4:15 on Wednesday afternoons.  All attendants have a turn at being leader, which means they open and close in prayer, conduct the share time, and choose and announce the Mission of the day.  Cost for Lego Club is $4 at the beginning of the month or $2 per week.

March 3rd is the first day of the Ladies Bible Study.  We meet every other Thursday evening through March, April and May to discuss the book Train Up a Mom by Vollie Sanders.  I am personally looking forward to this class and am excited for it to begin.  The class is free, but each registrant will need to acquire her own book.

Club PALS begins on March 7th.  We will be studying the character trait of Awareness.  This class is currently closed to registration.

Time to dig out the thinking cap!  Critical Thinking Class takes place on March 18.  The class is geared to kids in 6th grade and up and runs from 3:00pm to 5:00pm.  This is a fun class!  We will be strengthening our critical thinking skills with game-show style play, exploring logic, puzzles and visual problems.   Cost is $2 per student and the class size is limited.

Horse Rides are next on the calendar and this tour is a very special treat.  Join us March 23th at 1 pm to learn about and ride horses!  Cost is $20 per registrant and we need 15 registrants to make this tour work.  This is a terrific time to invite friends and family.  If you aren’t a current member to KidsROCK, but would like to try us out, we would love your company on this tour!

Do you like to play games?  I certainly do, and March 28 is the day the ladies are coming together to do just that!  Please join us for Ladies Game Night at 5 pm.  Just $1 reserves your spot and we hope to see every lady there for an evening of laughter and fun!

The final activity in March is the first day of Drama Club.  Drama Club will be meeting each Tuesday from 2:30-4:30 through May 17th, then performing at the End of Year Show!  Cost is $8 per child and the limited class size is geared to older children with experienced reading skills.

We do have one more special event that requires a March 1 registration.  We are going to see the “Ugly Duckling” play by the California Theater Center performed in Reno on May 18.  The price is $5.25 for each and every person attending.  We have an early registration date so that the best seats possible will be selected for us.

KidsROCK Academy policies state that registration is not final without full payment or payment arrangements.   We have several accepted payment methods, including PayPal.  The registration deadline for all of the above events is March 1st.  If EVER there is a financial need, please do not hesitate to contact us so that we can make the needed arrangements.  We never want people to miss out because of money.
