“Random Acts of Culture”
I saw this a little bit ago, and I know the video has since gone viral, but is so worthy of the attention. It seems to have been repeated in other malls around the country.
I just love watching this video! The expressions on both the singers' and the shoppers' faces are full of joy and engagement.
The other thing I just love is the unshaven men. LOL I love the symbolism of this beautiful song being sung by the 'average.' Obviously these singers are well trained and this piece has been well rehearsed, but in presenting it, they remained 'average.'
Normally, one would need to pay all sorts of money to see such a wonderful thing. There is a strong possibility that for many, this will be their only live viewing of a chorale.
That is how Christians are. We appear in all shapes and sizes, all brackets of worldly success, but we bring Christ's message and acts of love to everyone. Hmm.. Perhaps I should have just made this another post!
